Food for Friends – An ongoing collection of food to help fill a local food pantry. Please bring in non-perishable items and drop them in the bin in the Fellowship Room. Community Supported Agriculture – Holy Spirit is excited to announce we are a CSA distribution site this summer! Upper Meadows Farm is a certified organic farm in Sussex County that grows more than 100 varieties of fruits and vegetables. When you join a CSA, you buy a share in the farm's harvest and commit to doing 4 hours of work at the farm or the CSA distribution site, which is at Holy Spirit's parking lot on Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30. All of the information on Upper Meadows, including the cost of the CSA memberships, can be found at http://www.uppermeadowsfarm.com/. There are family, half-share and individual memberships available. Your share entitles you to food from June through October and works out to about $22 a week for a family membership. Prison Pen Pal Ministry – A new program designed to provide fellowship between pen pals and prison inmates who have little or no contact with the outside world and to help inmates prepare spiritually for their transition back into society.
